Introduction

Born in 1966, Fred Wan grew up in London and today resides in Hong Kong as one of the most popular comic artists in the region. Today, Wan has created comics for over 30 years, with popular works including “Tiger Shark” and “Warlord” under his belt. The authenticity of his work comes from his unique interaction with western culture and great appreciation for films and comics all around the world. In 2017, Wan widened his horizons by adapting his comic “Summer of Fire” to a live-action movie. This was well received by domestic audiences and consequently, laid the foundation for Wan in movie directing. In 2019, Wan started filming the theatrical movie "Midnight Lila", solidifying him as a diverse creator engaging in various mediums of visual art.

Tiger Shark (also known as Ty Blade) is a powerful individual who initially had no intention of confronting the global crises stemmed from deadly ambition. However, various encounters and the pull of destiny lead him to embark on a perilous journey with no regrets.
